How to Reach
Road transportation to Munnar is easily available. You may commute
to Munnar by taxis, auto rickshaws, bicycles or buses. Hired cycles
are an interesting way to explore the hill resort. Several buses
run by the state transport corporation also provide tours to places
in and around Munnar. The excellent road network links the hill
resort of Munnar with other important places of Kerala.
By Air: The airport closest to Munnar is Cochin/Kochi (130
km).
By Rail: The railway station nearest to Munnar also happens
to be that of Cochin-Kochi. It is well connected with places in
Tamilnadu also like Madurai and Coimbatore.
